2 months - What I Love

MAM Crystal Pacifiers

They're the only ones Hadley will use, and she loves them!

Puppy Training Pads

You might think these are an odd thing to love for a baby. But you're wrong. They're wonderful! They make naked time so easy. You just lay one out on a blanket (or in the swing, bouncy seat, bassinet, etc) and lay baby down. Throw away after naked time is over if they peed on it, which Hadley does unfailingly, and it's as easy as that! I also put one on the changing table to keep things from getting too messy.

Bright Starts Lots of Links
These came in a 24 pack for about $5... Maybe a bit less from the BX, but they're $4.99 online and I can't remember what we paid for them. Hadley loves them! She "talks" to them, grabs them, kicks them, tries to eat them... Colorful, simple intertainment!
Fisher Price Open Top Take-Along Swing
(Ours is navy blue w/ blue plaid and a little teddy bear picture at the top)

This thing is amazing!!! I buckle her in, attach her links from the two handles so they hang across the swing in front of her, and she talks, smiles, grabs, and kicks at them for a
t least 15 minutes! I don't even have to turn it on! If I turn it on, she usually lasts at least 30 minutes!

Fisher Price Newborn Rock 'n Play Sleeper

Lent to us by a friend (thanks Amy!) for while Hadley has a cold... or whatever it is that has her filled with slimy gunk... It helps her lay with her head elevated, it rocks, it cradles. In a word: heavenly!

getting to know you!

Tara at our journey did a link up on what is in your diaper bag (0r purse if you carry one) to get to know you. So here is my diaper bag!
***Disclaimer: this diaper bag is HUGE! I plan on downsizing significantly as soon as I can get my hands on a good diaper bag... I think my mom is sending me one, and hopefully we can get what we need into that one bag. This thing is heavy!

1. change of clothes... because this kid spits up!
2. swaddler blanket thingy
3. 1 all day wetbag and 2 small wetbags (we haven't used the all day one yet.. but the small ones are awesome! we carry bottles with frozen ice balls in one, and dirty diapers or clothes in another)

4. puppy pad - great for changing in the car or on the go... I always want to sanitize the nasty ones in bathrooms, so this is awesome. I got the idea from my friend Tina (from a bean to a beanstalk)
5. disposable diapers
6. burp cloths... lots of them... because like I said, this kid spits up...
7. ID, USAREUR drivers license, debit card, iPhone, gum, chapstick, Mylicon, keys, cash, and paci in storage box
8. pads
9. nursing pads
10. cloth wipes
11. Desitin and coupon bag
12. nursing cover and Medela manual pump top (the bottle and pieces are next to the sink)
13. cloth diapers and a cover
14. disposable wipes
15. natural hand sanitizer
